£25 million man admits ‘big move’ wanted

Reports have come out and claimed Real Sociedad ace Antoine Griezmann has given hope to Arsenal after admitting a summer move to a ‘big club’ is a possibility.

Arsene Wenger admitted in March the Gunners were following the progress of Griezmann, as they look to add something different to their already impressive midfield.

And after a stunning season with Real, in which saw him net 20 goals in 49 appearances, it looked like Wenger was ready to make a move.

And the winger gave hope to the Premier League side that he may seek a move to a bigger club following this summer’s showpiece in Brazil.

As quoted on the Daily Star website, he said: “I do not know, but first we have to play against Villarreal, then the World Cup and then we’ll see. I hope to have holidays and then we’ll see what happens.

“If one day I leave, it will be to move to a big club. But there is still a long time for that.”

“That’s something that the club and my agent will deal with.

“I’m here enjoying myself and we’ll see what can happen. I’m focused on playing.”
