Fresh reports on the Sky Sports website have come out and revealed Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge admits it ‘will not be easy’ for Arsenal target Mario Mandzukic to remain at the Allianz Arena.
Speculation regarding a summer exit for the Croatia international has been building steadily for some months now, as the German giants are set to replace the big man with the Robert Lewandowski.
The rumours have intensified after it was revealed that Pep Guardiola had left the striker out of his squad for the German Cup final, and even wished him the best of luck at his new club.
And Rummenigge has opened the door even further for a move to Arsenal by admitting: “If Mario stays here, it won’t be easy for him because a world-class player is coming to us.
“The question is whether he wants to face up to his competition or would prefer to go to another club.
“We are open and fair and we talk about everything, so nothing is decided.”
