Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil accepts he needs to improve his goals record next season.
The record signing made a brilliant start to life as a Gunner after his massive £42 million move to the Emirates last summer.
However, a poor return of five goals in 27 league appearances has led to some fans questioning the playmaker’s drive and determination, and Ozil concedes that his main aim before the next campaign is to improve his sharpness in and around the six-yard box.
“It’s true that I haven’t been a real danger, and I demand it of myself,” he said.
“I am working hard at it, and although I did not do well in some situations, I’m working on finding a solution.”
