Liverpool sensation Raheem Sterling has admitted he wants to become a legend at Anfield.
The world-class teenager revealed on Friday he is on the verge of agreeing a new contract, and he insisted he wants to stay at Anfield “for many years to come”.
And as his name joined the likes of Steven Gerrard on the list of those to progress through the club’s youth scheme, he insisted he would love to emulate them by becoming a Liverpool legend.
As quoted on the Daily Mirror website, he said:”I am happy to be here for as long as possible, like the big names that are on that wall.
“I am just happy to play at this football club for many years to come.”
