Chelsea and Tottenham have reportedly stepped up their pursuit of Zenit St Petersburg star Hulk, according to the Brazilian player’s agent.
The Brazilian, 26, was linked with Chelsea last summer but instead completed a £48million transfer to Zenit St Petersburg.
Hulk was a key player when Andre Villas-Boas guided Porto to the Treble in 2011 and his agent Teodoro Fonseca is unsurprised to hear that the Spurs boss is seeking a reunion with the player. (Daily Express)
Hulk would fit into both sides style of play perfectly, but his price tag is a massive problem and it would not be a surprise if he didn’t move anywhere in the next couple of months.
