The agent of Liverpool target Adriano has confirmed his client is open to a summer move.
The Brazilian – who moved to the Nou Camp five years ago – has had his game time limited due to the arrival of Jordi Alba, who joined Luis Enrique’s side in 2012 from Valencia.
And Liverpool will be boosted by the news the Brazil star is looking for a new challenge.
As quoted on the Sky Sports website, Adriano’s representative, Paulo Affonso, said: “[Roma’s offer] is very tempting and he thinks it’s time for a change.
“It’s time to face new challenges and take advantage of the offer of a big Italian team.
“We have a perfect relationship with everyone at Barcelona and they have been very good to us.
“As professionals we have to handle the situation with intelligence and patience to reach an agreement for a transfer.”
