The agent of Victor Valdes has told Manchester United he will be staying put.
The goalkeeper’s agent, Gines Carvajal, has revealed that Valdes will, at least, see out the final year of his current United contract.
Recent reports had suggested that the veteran stopper was considering his future, with a move to Turkey on the cards.
But now, he looks set to remain at Old Trafford, on the say so of his representatives.
Carvajal told AS: “[Valdes’] thoughts are to continue as a player of Manchester United.
“He has one year left on his contract with the club.”
