Preston have signed Manchester United starlet Will Keane on a season-long loan, according to the Sky Sports website.
The 22-year-old striker, who made his senior bow for United in 2011 replacing Rafael against Blackburn Rovers, spent the second half of last season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday.
“I’m really excited to be here and I am looking forward to the new season and the challenge ahead,” Keane said of his move to Deepdale.
“I want to come here and do my best to help the team; they had a very successful year last year and hopefully the whole team and the Club can build on that.
“The likes of David Beckham and Danny Welbeck have been here and they all did well and benefited from the experience, so that is something I can hopefully come here and take from it.”
