Chelsea starlet, Jake Clarke-Salter is set to continue the club’s tradition of sending out young players on loan when he moves to Norwich City after the end of the club’s preseason.
The young centre back is highly regarded at Stamford Bridge and has been trusted by Conte to play in the team’s defence during the preseason, however, he would definitely not get opportunities to start for the team when the 2017/2018 season begins, with the Blues well-stocked in his position following the arrival of Antonio Rudiger.
Norwich City has a reduced budget this summer after failing to seal an immediate return to the Premier League last season, and they consider loaning Jake Clarke-Salter a good business.
The England youth international has signed a new four years deal at Stamford Bridge and would be hoping that this loan spell helps his dream of breaking into the Blues starting lineup in the future.
Chelsea would also be hoping he would not change his mind and join a Premier League rival in the future just like Nathaniel Chalobah and Dominic Solanke.
