Antonio Conte prefers to sign two players rather than one huge superstar
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, has rejected the chance to sign Barcelona star, Neymar. According to reports, club owner Roman Abramovic was ready to bankroll a move for the Brazilian superstar, but has been told by his manager that he did not need the player.
Instead of Neymar, Conte has decided that he wants Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez and Everton’s Romelu Lukaku.
Sanchez has just one year left on his current deal and has rejected offers of a new contract. He has scored 18 Premier League goals this season, making him an accomplished Premier League player.
Romelu Lukaku has netted 21 times in the Premier League this season and has rejected a new deal from Everton. He has informed the club that he would love to move in the summer. His current deal ends in 2019, and Everton would likely cash in on the player.
Chelsea saw their lead at the top of the Premier league table cut to just seven points following their loss to crystal Palace and would hope to get back to winning ways in tonight’s game against Man City.
