Antonio Conte urges Chelsea board to sign primary target no matter what

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte appears to be unhappy about losing Alvaro Morata to Manchester United and has told his club to do whatever it takes to sign Everton’s leading scorer, Romelu Lukaku.

The Italian had Alvaro Morata as his number one transfer target even though the club’s hierarchy preferred Lukaku who is proven at Premier League Level.

After learning that Morata is keen to be reunited with Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, the Italian has told his club to get him Romelu Lukaku at all cost.

The Belgian almost won the Premier League’s golden boot last season, only for Tottenham’s Harry Kane to recover from injury and outscore him during the run-in but his season’s return of more than 25 goals was enough to make top clubs interested in him.

The Belgian has told Everton he wants to leave after rejecting a new contract worth £100,000 per week from the Toffees.

Sensing that the Blues are desperate to sign a new attacker after telling Diego Costa that his services are no longer needed, Everton has set an asking price of £100 million for Lukaku. Chelsea is hoping to do a deal with them for £75 million, which would be a huge profit for a player they signed for £28 million from the Blues in 2014. © 2017 Frontier Theme
