Reports have claimed Arsenal have reached the agreement with Chelsea about the summer signing of veteran goalkeeper Per Cech, according to the Metro website.
The big man is no longer interested in staying at Chelsea as he is sick of sitting on the bench and many reports have claimed his next destination will be the Emirates, with a three-year deal offered.
And former France international and World Cup winner Marcel Desailly also believes that leaving the club could be the best option for Czech Republic international.
“It is obvious – he needs to leave. He has only two more years left of playing football. He needs to go and enjoy it if he is someone who is motivated to play, unless he wants to sit and play 10 games in the year and grab his money.” Said the Frenchman.
