Manchester City is set to lose one of their brightest players coming through their academy.
According to reports, the Citizens’ youngster Jordan Sancho is considering his chances of breaking into the Manchester City first team after Pep Guardiola chose to leave him at home while choosing his players for preseason.
Sancho, 17 has been capped by England at various youth levels, but he is yet to sign professional forms with Manchester City. Sources close to the player claim that Pep Guardiola’s decision not to include the youngster for preseason has not been received well by his family as they see it as an apparent lack of trust.
Arsenal and Tottenham have been tracking him, and are reportedly set to poach him from Man City.
Arsenal believes their reputation for giving teenagers a chance in the first team could see the English man choose them ahead of other teams.
Tottenham is also pitching their use of youngsters as well as their manager’s reputation for turning relatively unknown players into England internationals like he did for Adam Lallana and the rest.
