Turkish giants Galatasaray have confirmed talks to sign Arsenal star Lukas Podolski this summer.
The Turkish giants have been linked heavily with a move for the German international, who spent the second half of the 2014-15 season on loan with Serie A giants Inter Milan.
And according to the club’s sporting director, Cuneyt Tanman, the Super Lig side are in negotiations to get a deal done.
“We are dealing with Podolski,” he said on the Sky Sports website.
anman’s comments regarding Podolski’s future come less than 24 hours after the 30-year-old claimed the Turkish giants had offered him a ‘lucrative’ contract.
“I grew up in a Turkish area and know a bit of Turkish,” Podolski said.
“Champions League football is a must and Galatasaray have made a lucrative offer.”
