Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has again firmly quashed suggestions that Lukas Podolski will leave the Emirates in January.
The Germany World Cup winner has started just one game, and made eight appearances as a substitute, for The Gunners so far this term and has been linked with a move away.
However, Wenger has now dismissed speculation Podolski could be on his way out of the club in the upcoming winter transfer window.
As quoted on the Daily Star website, he said: “It is not established at all that he will leave at Christmas.
“He is not for sale and there is no offer.
“Podolski plays in a position where there is a big competition.
“He came back very late after the World Cup and was not good physically.”
