Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Olivier Giroud will be in contention to return from injury for Arsenal’s crunch clash against Manchester United in two weeks’ time.
The Frenchman was expected to be out until new year with a broken foot sustained back in August, but after making a speedy recovery, Wenger has confirmed the forward will ‘join back in training next week’.
But there’s no definitive return date set for defender Laurent Koscielny.
As quoted on the Metro website, he said: “Koscielny has a little chance to be back after the international break.
“Debuchy, Ospina and Ozil are progressing very well, but of course they are not available before or straight after the international break.”
