Manchester City is fighting to keep hold of one of their most exciting prospects this summer, but it appears they may be losing the fight.
Jordan Sancho appears to have had his head turned by a move to Arsenal after being left out of Manchester City’s squad for preseason.
The youngster has been offered a new £30,000 per week deal at the Etihad Stadium, but he is unwilling to sign, with many believing he does not see a future for himself in the Citizen’s first team.
However, Pep Guardiola’s decision to leave him behind while taking Phil Foden and Brahim Diaz is said to have angered the teenager and his family. He is now considering his options with Arsenal in a strong position to sign him.
Sancho has reportedly been missing from City’s training recently, and City’s fear boils down to the fact that he has just a year left on his current deal.
Sancho was born in London, he is a Gunners’ fan, and very close friends with Reiss Nelson.
Pep Guardiola is planning to hold one on one talks with him, but City fear it might be too late to change his mind now.
