Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are all set to miss out on long-term target Arturo Vidal, according to the latest transfer gossip.
It is being reported that Inter Milan are preparing a January swoop for the Bayern Munich midfielder.
All three English clubs were linked with the 30-year-old throughout the summer, however, it now appears that he is Italy bound.
Inter themselves did try and sign the Chilean international in the summer but were unable to persuade the German champions to sell the playmaker.
Inter coach Luciano Spalletti reportedly sees Vidal as the perfect player to reinvigorate his stuttering side and is determined to sign him in the winter transfer window.
It is highly likely that at least one of the English trio will also make another attempt to land Vida in January but as things stand today it is Inter that are now the front-runners.
That said, money speaks and if any of the English clubs really want to sign Vidal then all they need to do is offer up the highest amount of money.
