Arsenal close in on deal after target confirms he wants Premier League move

Marseille winger and long-term Arsenal target Andre Ayew admits he is open to a “dream” Premier League move this summer.

The forward’s contact runs out at the end of the current campaign and could end a 10-year association with the Ligue 1 side when the transfer window opens.

And Ayew says starring in the top tier of English football is a possibility.

“I’ve had discussions with Marseille and I’ve also had a few offers from different clubs,” he said on the Sky Sports website.

“I’m taking my time and soon I will take a decision on my future. And yes, there is a possibility I will come to the Premier League and possibly to another country.

“I’ve had offers to leave Marseille when we didn’t have Champions League. I think I will take my time, have a good discussion, and try to end our discussions with the president here very well and from there we’ll take a decision whether to continue or to go somewhere else.”
