As Arsenal look to improve their squad for the new season, Arsene Wenger’ scouting network has reached Turin, Italy. According to reports, the Gunners are close to sealing a deal for Juventus midfielder, Mario Lemina.
The Gabonese midfielder has found it had to get a starting berth in Juventus recently and looks set for a move away from the Italian Champions.
Arsene is said to have been very impressed by the scouting reports made available to him about Lemina and wants to add him to his team,
Lemina, 23 joined Juventus from Marseille last summer and has been impressive in the few opportunities that have come his way.
Italian media is claiming that reports from London Evening Standard state that the Gunners have jumped ahead of other suitors in a bid to sign the player.
Per the source, Wenger is ready to £17 million for the African and sees him as a player that would complement his current midfielders.
