There has been some reports on the Daily Star website which have claimed Arsenal are ‘certain’ to snap up Julio Cesar from Queens Park Rangers.
Most bookmakers have stopped taking bets on Cesar moving to the Emirates, while BetVictor are offering a price of 1/33 on the move happening.
The 33-year-old is currently on international duty with Brazil and the move is expected to be completed once his commitments there are over.
Cesar has made no secret of his desire to play in the top flight following QPR’s relegation.
The Brazilian international said last week that he “wants to stay in England” because he is “enjoying London and the Premier League”. (Daily Star)
Cesar has the experience and quality that the Gunners need to keep guard between the sticks and many will be waiting to see the official capture of the Brazilian.
