Arsenal door open as world class target ‘played last game’ for Spanish giants

Arsenal have been given a big boost in their chase for unhappy Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira, according to the Daily Express website.

The 27-year-old was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League last month, with Arsenal admirers of the Germany international.

Now sources have sensationally revealed that Khedira, who was substituted after 45 minutes of Real’s humiliating derby defeat against Atletico with a hamstring injury, may have played his last game for the club.

Khedira is expected to spend at least two weeks on the sidelines, although his injury comes at a bad time for Los Blancos who are also without Luka Modric and James Rodriguez.
