Arsenal fans anger at shock home defeat….to Blackburn!

It was another embarrassing day to be a Gunners fan as Arsenal were knocked out of the FA Cup to Blackburn Rovers at the Emirates as fans looked on with disbelief and anger.

A second-half goal from boyhood Gunners fan Colin Kazim-Richards secured the victory – and handed Arsenal their first ever Cup exit to a lower-league team under Arsene Wenger.

Kazim-Richards’ goal came amid a dominant Arsenal performance, but the recalled Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Gervinho were both guilty of wasting chances to put Arsenal into the last eight.

The majority of the 60,000-strong Emirates Stadium crowd booed at the full-time whistle, as fans vented their frustrations amid fears their long trophy drought will now continue. Only the Champions League now offers Arsenal a slim chance of winning their first piece of silverware since 2005. (The Metro)

All the stats prove that the Gunners were by far the better team, but they could break down the Championships side defence and they will now wonder how this season could get worse. But considering they have Bayern Munich in the Champions League in midweek, they have to get over this result as soon as possible.

if it was not @ this point it would have been at a latter stage. With the squad we have it was obvious we were not going to win a trophy this year. Even if we go past this stage of the champions league we will not win the champions league. We will have to rely on tottenham for us to be in the top four.i think our season will be over by end of march.if giroud keeps on trying to play one touch football we might have another chamack on our hands.i am off to the quack to get my blood pressure checked

IT’S OFFICIAL: Arsenal has extended its contract with Trophyless for one more season. Trophyless who signed with Arsenal in August 2005 have spent 6 yrs @ d club and is delighted with his contract extension. In an interview with Radio Kossi, Trophyless said, ”I am over the moon with this contract extension, and I hope to repay this club (Arsenal) with good displays. The fans and the coach believe in me thats why they extended this contract. I hope to stay here for many more seasons bcos I feel @ home here. I want to end my career here. I know with d help of d coach (Arsene) and d support of d fans, I would achieve this

  • Gervinho! Gervinho! this guy is far from premier league material. Please dispatch him back to France.
All that domination for nothing to show? We really need some soul searching because this is another barren season and to add salt to the wound our only trophy we have always competed for(fourth place) is now a distant dream. That’s the reality.

Quite simple wenger needs to go ASAP. Total joke if a result today. Have to laugh when he says our squad strong is he havin a laugh its worst squad he’s ever had we hav only 2 truly world class players in Wiltshire and carzola rest are average. I certainly won’t be back at emirates till things change I threw my season ticket in drawer and won’t be back this season till board change things ie sack wenger

it will take for the fans to stop going to matches for the misers up stairs to sack wenger all thay know about is money not winning and if the fans are happy to keep going
then the board will be more than happy to keep taking our money so cop on and hit them in their pockets .ie if we get wenger out in time we have a chance to get the special
one he will shore up that defence and win things

We have a team of 2nd Tier players. We have one, maybe two players that could walk into the top clubs in the world. You are never going to win anything when you settle for that level of quality in your team.

We must reform our philosophy so that we can again start buying the best players in the world or 8 years will become 16 will become 24, etc…

I think time has come when wenger and the board should admit that they are running football academy and not football team.

Wenger and the arsenal board should stop duping innocent fans of their hard earn money.

It is time wenger should be charged for child labour
