Arsenal contract rebel Alexis Sanchez has agreed to join German giants, Bayern Munich. The Chilean’s much-publicized contract standoff with the Gunners has still not been sorted out and it is believed that both parties have agreed that it would be best to part ways after this season.
The English press is quoting an Italian Journalist who claims that he has first-hand information about Sanchez’s agreement with the Bavarians to join them this summer.
Sanchez has become less relied upon since the Gunners made a switch to three defenders at the back. Although he has recently become the Gunners first player to score 20 league goals in a season since Robin Van Persie.
The Gunners are set to bring in several new players this summer, as they hope to get back into reckoning in English football next season.
They are set to miss out on the Champions League next season, and that is one of the reasons Alexis Sanchez is not keen on renewing his current deal. They may also lose Mesut Ozil, but interest in the German is very low currently and he is set to stay unless big clubs come for him in the summer.
