Arsenal have identified the perfect replacement for goalkeeper Petr Cech, according to the latest transfer gossip from the British media.
Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno is reported to be the number one target for the Gunners and they are prepared to splash out £25 Million to land the 26-year-old.
The new head of recruitment Sven Mislintat knows all about Leno from his time at Borussia Dortmund and will no doubt have played a role in recommending the German stopper.
Leno is experienced enough, he has already made in excess of 220 Bundesliga appearances and is a bit of a specialist when it comes to penalties, having stopped four in a row and five from eight in the 2013/14 season.
Liverpool and Napoli are also said to be interested in Leno, however, it is the Gunners that are viewed as the front-runners at this time.
Arsenal will be making changes in the goal and not just Cech, they are also looking to replace second choice keeper David Ospina who is set to leave in the summer for more regular first-team football.
