Benfica winger Goncalo Guedes is being linked with a move to Arsenal next year according to the latest transfer gossip in the media.
The Portuguese youngster has found himself linked with a whole host of clubs, but it seems that the Gunners are in pole position to secure his signature.
Guedes is reported to be something special and has a great future ahead of him and it is hardy a surprise that Arsene Wenger has identified him as a player he wants to sign.
Guedes is apparently seen as an ideal replacement for Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, which in effect would make him a glorified bench warmer, something that may have an impact on what decision he comes to over his future.
It also means that the speculation over Chamberlain will continue, especially with the January transfer window almost upon us.
Guedes advanced from the Benfica youth team back in April 2014, he has since made 37 first team appearances and two international appearances for Portugal.
