Despite maintaining a hard line in terms of allowing Alexis Sanchez to leave the Emirates this season, Arsenal has reportedly found a replacement for the south American just in case the worst happens.
The Gunners are desperately trying to convince Sanchez to stay with Arsene Wenger confirming that he has been texting the Chilean and trying to convince him that he can achieve his dreams at the north London club.
However, Sanchez is adamant that he does not want to miss out on playing Champions League football, as he is getting too old to fulfil his dream of lifting the trophy.
According to reports, the Gunners have identified Celtic attacker Mousa Dembele as the ideal replacement should Sanchez leave.
The Frenchman scored more than 30 goals in 48 games for the Parkhead side last season as they went through the season unbeaten domestically.
There is high interest in Dembele, and Celtic are looking to keep hold of him for at least one more season, but the French man who joined them from Fulham for almost nothing may feel it is time for him to test himself at a bigger club.
