Arsenal in Italian battle to land unsettled hitman

Italian giants Inter Milan are interested in signing Juventus striker and Arsenal target Mirko Vucinic, according to the SportsDirectNews website

The Serie A giants are ready to make a summer move for at least one striker after a dip in form saw Manuel Icardi, Diego Milito and Rodrigo Palacio score just two goals in nine games this year.

Vucinic has struggled for game time this season in Turin but has scored two goals in his five starts and that has led to interest from the likes of Arsenal.

The Gunners are looking to add a bit more fire-power to the squad this summer and see the Juve hitman as a great back-up to number one Olivier Giroud.

He will be available on a bargain price and although Gunners fans want to see big names arrive, it is much more likely Wenger tries to land players on the cheap
