Arsenal make contact with Italian giants following huge Chelsea bid
Arsenal have reportedly made contact with Juventus over the possible transfer of Kingsley Coman.
Coman has been on loan at Bayern Munich for the past two seasons, and has impressed immensely. The German champions have the option of making his loan deal permanent if they can pay £18 million, however there is strong interest in the player from the Premier League.
Chelsea have reportedly made an offer in excess of £45 million for the winger, which has made Juventus reconsider the terms of his loan to Bayern Munich.
Arsenal are undergoing a major restructuring this summer and they want Coman to be part of the new players that they bring in during the summer. He has scored eight goals in 55 appearances for the Bavarians.
Arsenal may lose both Alexis Sanchez and Alex Oxlaide-chamberlain, and Coman looks a ready-made replacement for either one.
Bayern are desperate to keep him, and would most likely activate his permanent transfer. Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Coman will remain in Munich come next season.
