Arsenal, Man City and Tottenham set for huge summer transfer battle

AS Monaco’s success this season has expectedly attracted the top European clubs, who will try to poach some of their best players. The French champions had a great season championed by a team of young and energetic players who all performed superbly.

One such player is defender Djibril Sidibe, who was admirably reliable as the club reached the semi-final of the Champions League and won their first league crown in a long time.

His performance has attracted the interest of several top European sides, but the interest from the Premier League remains the strongest of them all.

English trio of Arsenal, Manchester City, and Tottenham remain very keen m signing the player who can play at either full-back or at the centre of defence.

Arsene Wenger who has just extended his contract with the Gunners wants to add Sidibe to his squad as he rebuilds for next season, his current defensive players failed to turn up on numerous occasions this season as the Gunners finished outside the Champions League places.

Pep Guardiola is getting rid of old players in his current squad and sees 22-year-old Sidibe as a player who is young enough to help him achieve his goals as manager at the Etihad.
