Arsenal may be forced into an emergency signing this summer

Arsenal may be forced to include the signing of a goalkeeper in their transfer plans for this summer.

The Gunners have been trying to improve their outfield squad members for the past few weeks, but now face a major goalkeeping crisis if they don’t sign a new goalie.

Reports from Spain is claiming that Valencia is interested in signing their last season’s third choice keeper, Emiliano Martinez.

The Argentine has been unable to nail a first team spot since he joined the Gunners in 2010 as a teenager. Per the source, he considers Valencia’s approach as a dream move, which gives him an opportunity to finally get first team football. Valencia has sold two of their goalkeepers meaning he would be made their first choice.

The Gunners may also lose their second choice David Ospina whom they have received an offer for from Fenerbahce. The Turkish giants are flush with cash and have reportedly made an impressive offer for the Colombian, but are waiting for a response from the Gunners.

Poland number one, Wojciech Szczesny who spent last season on loan at AS Roma is also attracting the interest of several Italian sides.
