Valencia is on the verge of closing a deal for Arsenal’s Gabriel, according to the latest transfer news.
Gabriel arrived in Spain on Thursday to put pen to paper and end his unhappy stint with the FA Cup winners.
Valencia is looking to strengthen their squad and see the Brazilian as an ideal acquisition. A fee of £10 Million has reportedly been agreed between the clubs.
The 26-year-old had a successful time in La Liga when he played for Villarreal, however, he has failed to replicate that form since joining the Gunners and a move back to Spain is probably the best chance for the defender to reignite his career.
Gabriel has found himself surplus to requirements at Arsenal and has struggled to hold down a first team spot, a task made even harder since the emergence of Rob Holding.
Gabriel moved to Arsenal from Villarreal back in 2015, he made just 46 first team appearances for the Gunners scoring just the single goal in that time.
