Arsenal have opened up talks with FC Crotone teenage goalkeeper Aniello Viscovo, according to reports coming out of Italy,
Viscovo contract with the Italian side expires at the end of the season and he is able to sign a pre-contract agreement with a club from outside Italy next month.
Arsenal have reportedly decided to move very quickly and have now begun negotitions with the players representatives about a move to the Premier League giants.
Viscovo has yet to appear in Serie A, he has however been on the bench a couple of times, he is highly regarded and apparently is not interested in signing a new contract with his current club.
The teenager is obviously one for the future, he is unlikely however to be the immediate long term replacement for Petr Cech and the chances are that the youngster will not be the only keeper that Arsenal sign in the next 12 months.
There is also a chance that other clubs will be interested in signing the 17 year old and there is no guarantee that Arsenal will land the youngster, despite being the first club reported to have opened up talks.
