Arsenal is reported to have made a world record bid for Monaco Young sensation Kylian Mbappe.
However, it seems that even a bid of 130 million pounds is not enough to persuade the French giants to sell. Apparently, Monaco will reject the bid when the player returns from International Duty.
Kylian Mbappe is just 18 years of age and it is shocking that Monaco will reject such a massive amount of money for a teenager. It is also very surprising the Arsenal would countenance spending such a vast amount of money on a player that is not yet a proven world class superstar.
It does, however, show how serious the Arsene Wenger is about turning the Gunners into a force once again.
You have to think this is as high as Arsenal will go, it is hard to see them increasing the offer and the chances are they will now turn their attention elsewhere.
But, if this rumour is true then surely it means that Arsenal will be spending huge amounts this summer, certainly, more than the £100 Million previously reported.
