Arsenal preparing for a double summer swoop north of the border
It is no longer news that Arsene Wenger will spearhead a summer overhaul at Arsenal. However, there is uncertainty as to which player will join the Gunners and which would leave the club.
Reports from Scotland indicates that parts of the Gunner’s £200 Million budget would end up in Celtic. Arsenal are reportedly keen on two of Celtics stars.
The Scottish champions have some exciting players in their ranks who have helped them win the league with games to spare and a record number of points, having also not tasted defeat all through the season.
Mousa Dembele and Kieran Tierney have been reported as the targets. Dembele has been in inspiring form this season, and looks set to leave the club.
He joined form Fulham last summer for a cut-price deal of £350,000 but looks set to command a fee in the region of £35 Million.
Tierney has been in terrific form from the left side of defence, tackling opposing attackers and contributing to the team’s attacking play.
These player’s performances are said to have caught the eye of Wenger as he is looking to make them his first signings when the transfer window opens.
