Arsenal is set to make another bid for AS Monaco winger Thomas Lemar, but Monaco insists he is not for sale.
Arsene Wenger has placed all his energy and focus into bringing Lemar to the Emirates this summer but has been met with frustration as the French champion remain adamant in their determination not to allow any of their players leave.
The Principality club has sold a bulk of their stars this summer, and may still lose Kylian Mbappe, but they have closed the door on any other player leaving.
However, Arsenal who have already broken their transfer record this summer when they signed Alexandre Lacazette from Olympique Lyon, and are set to go all the way and smash that record again to sign the winger.
Mirror Sports is reporting that Wenger is preparing to make a £54 million offer this week, but AS Monaco insists he would not be going even at that price.
The winger wants to leave Monaco after learning that the Gunners would almost quadruple his current weekly wage at the French club. He has also let the club know of his desire, but Monaco has made their stance clear to him also.
