Arsene Wenger continues his summer clear out and the next in line seems to be Germany international and World Cup winner Shkodran Mustafi.
The defender joined the Gunners last summer for £35 million and despite starting his Arsenal career on a high note, he failed to impress in 25 appearances for them in the Premier League last season.
He was left on the bench in Arsenals shocking 4-0 loss to Liverpool on Sunday and may have played his last game for the club.
Inter Milan have agreed to personal terms with the defender and Arsenal are set to allow him to leave for a loan with an obligation to buy next summer.
Mustafi currently earns around £90,000 per week and Inter Milan have agreed to pay all his wages as well as a small loan fee that the Gunners want to add to their transfer kitty.
The Gunners have already sold one defender this summer with Gabriel Paulista joining Valencia in a £10 million deal, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and Alexis Sanchez are also expected to make their exits from the Emirates this summer.
Arsene Wenger is expected to use those funds to make some deadline day signings, but no clear targets have been identified yet.
