Arsenal sent a scout to Chelsea’s game against Man City on Wednesday to look at one of the Blues players. Chelsea defeated Man City 2-1 as two goals from Hazard and a consolation from Sergio Aguero ensured that the Blues dismissed any talk of capitulation after their shock 2-1 home loss against Crystal palace.
Arsenal are now within four points off Man City and they both have outstanding games. But Arsenal were not at Stanford Bridge just to know the score of the match.
It is believed that Arsenal sent their scout to that game to spy on Chelsea’s French defender, Kurt Zouma. The Frenchman recovered from a horrific injury that saw him miss the end of last season as well as the beginning of this season.
But since he came back from injury, he has not been able to play his way into Chelsea’s first team. He has been limited to just five league appearances.
Although he got a rare start against Manchester City, he was substituted before the end of the game as he was sacrificed for a change of tactics.
It is believed that Zouma wants to play regularly and is open to moving to any club, as far as Chelsea are ready to listen to the Club’s offer.
