Arsenal’s pursuit of a top target has encountered a major problem. The Gunners who have been trying to sign some players from the French league and are yet to complete the signing of any of them so far.
One of their summer targets is Nice defender, Dalbert, but the Brazilian has informed his club that he is not interested in joining the Gunners and would prefer to move to Italy with Inter Milan.
According to online reports, Nice has fielded enquiries from Arsenal for the defender, but Inter Milan came into the mix this week, and the Brazilian has had his head turned by the chance of playing at the San Siro.
This would be a major blow for Arsene Wenger who is looking to bolster his team after a disappointing 2016/2017 season.
Dalbert’s decision to join Inter instead is a little baffling as he would be leaving Nice who would play in the Champions League next season and Arsenal who are the Europa League for Inter Milan that has been experiencing a steady decline over the past few seasons.
