Arsenal set a fair asking price for disgruntled player

Arsenal is ready to get rid of Lucas Perez, and any team who can afford £13.4 million can have him.

Perez joined the Gunners last summer but failed to nail down a regular starting spot, starting just 9 games for the Gunners as Arsene Wenger opted for the faster duo of Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck as his attackers.

However, the last straw seems to be when the Gunners stripped him of his number 9 jersey and offered it to new record signing, Alexandre Lacazette without informing him.

The Spaniard went public with his displeasure and accused Wenger of cheating him. Since that time he has been looking for a way out of the Emirates.

Premier League new boys, Newcastle as well as his former team Deportivo La Coruna are looking to take him back to Spain, but both clubs are not willing to pay Arsenal’s asking price.

Newcastle is looking to sign him on loan first, while Deportivo has made a bid worth less than what Arsenal want.

The Gunners are open to him joining any other team apart from his current suitors and are hoping to take him off their wage bill soon. © 2017 Frontier Theme
