Arsenal have shown their class with a generous offer of £1 per ticket sold from their game against Stoke City this weekend to be given to Save the Children’s Child Refugee Crisis Appeal.
Arsenal have joined the likes of Bayern Munich and others in responding to the refugee crisis unfolding in Europe and their manager Arsene Wenger, has called on others to do the dame.
Speaking to Arsenal.com Wenger said,
“For the game against Stoke we decided to give £1 per ticket sold.
“We’re happy to contribute because it’s an immediate need for people who are without anything and have to flee their country. We’re happy to help.”
“The need is immediate so we decided to be immediately helpful,”
“You know that we are always involved with a helpful attitude, we have our own foundations and charity and this is a special case where people are in the need of special help.”
