Jack Wilshere’s Arsenal career is once again being threatened by an injury. The Englishman who was once the biggest English talent on the planet has been struggling with injuries that have limited his appearances on the field of play.
His latest setback came in April after a tackle by Tottenham’s Harry Kane. Arsene Wenger had hoped that he would recover in time to join the club on their preseason tour of Asia. Unfortunately, he is still nursing the injury and while his teammates will be travelling next week he will remain in London to recuperate.
This is the most important season in Wilshere’s Arsenal career, as he has just one year left on his current deal with the Gunners. He is set to miss out on the first few games of the season, and Arsene Wenger is currently pondering on whether to cash in on him or offer him a new deal.
Meanwhile Gunners new attacker, Alexandre Lacazette is set to join the Gunners as they set out to Asia for their preseason, and Arsene Wenger is delighted to have his new record signing with him.
