Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla may have played his last game for the Gunners. The Spanish midfielder is a fans favourite at the Emirates but has become too prone to injuries, which has limited his performances for the Gunners over the past two seasons.
Cazorla was offered a contract extension by the Gunners last year despite being injured at the time. He has not played since October and is still not ready to join the Gunners for preseason.
Arsene Wenger has looked beyond the midfielder over the past two seasons, with the signing of Mohamed Elneny and Granit Xhaka signifying that the Gunners have moved on from him.
Cazorla has been a prominent fixture in the Gunners team since he joined them five years ago. His latest injury setback means that he may not return to action until April 2018.
The Spaniard recently posted a video on Instagram of him going through some workout routines as he looks to bounce back from injury ahead of the new season.
This season represents his last chance to prove to Arsene Wenger that he can still make a contribution, he would be praying not to encounter any new setback.
