Man City are reported to have made a bid of £60 Million for Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez, according to the latest transfer rumours.
Man City have apparently made the offer in the belief that Arsenal will be tempted to finally relent and sell the Chilean hit man.
Arsenal is not open to allowing Sanchez to leave the Emirates, especially to a Premier League rival, and it may take an even bigger offer to get them to reconsider their current stance.
Sanchez has been critical to Arsenal over the last few seasons and the last thing the Gunners will want is to see a pivotal player depart.
Sanchez has made it clear that he wants to leave but has reportedly accepted that he will have to see out the final year of his contract before that can happen.
City has been relentless in their pursuit of the 28-year-old but the chances are that they will have to move on to other targets.
Sanchez moved to Arsenal from Barcelona back in 2014, he has scored 53 goals in 103 first team appearances for the FA Cup winners and made 115 international appearances for Chile.
