After completing the signing of Alexandre Lacazette, Arsenal is set to move swiftly to fill out the transfer of another summer target.
Arsene Wenger who is preparing to take his team out for preseason has reportedly set to continue his spending spree by splashing out £30 million for French winger Thomas Lemar.
Standard Sport is reporting that despite AS Monaco saying that the winger is not for sale, the Gunners are convinced that a big money offer would be hard to turn down by the French champions.
Lemar, 21, is one of the most exciting wingers in France right now and helped Monaco win the French league as well as reach the Champions League semifinal.
Arsene Wenger believes he can help him develop into an excellent player in the future.
AS Monaco have asked for £60 million, which is just a quotation they want to use and scare away the Gunners.
Arsenal is prepared to pay around £25 million for Lemar, but risk losing him to other suitors as the transfer market has become more inflated recently. The Gunners had a bid around that region rejected last week.
