Arsenal target confirms ‘attractive offer’ from Wengers men

There has been some reports which have revealed Arsenal target and Marseille frontman Andre-Pierre Gignac has stated he turned down an offer from a ‘top five’ Premier League club.

The former French international joined Marseille in 2010 after huge success at Toulouse where he netted 24 league goals duing the 2008/09 campaign ending as the Ligue 1 top goalscorer.

However, before he made the £15 million move, the hitman has revealed he was offered the chance to join one of England’s leading clubs.

As quoted on the Daily Star website, he said: “I had attractive offers.

“I had a very good English club in my footsteps at age 23, I had just finished top scorer in Ligue 1.”

  1. Big NO! I can understand if Arsene chasing Benzema. Together with Giroud, he’s exchanging position as France number 1 or 2 striker. But for Gignac or Remy? Come on! We need better striker than Giroud period if we want prem title next year. PERIOD.
