Arsenal are ready to offer Hector Bellerin a hefty new contract to sign.
Bellerin is still on his first professional contract that he signed two years ago when he hadn’t broken into the first team.
As a result, the 20-year-old is currently the lowest paid member of Arsene Wenger’s squad on £15,000 a week.
But according to The Sun, his performances will be rewarded with a new £9million deal worth £45,000 per week.
Bellerin said: “I don’t consider myself to be one of Arsenal’s main players but just being a regular for the first team has been a great achievement for me and I am really proud of that.
“It was a really hard decision for me to leave Barcelona when I was 16 but now I am happy that I took that chance because things have gone really well at Arsenal and hopefully next year will be even better.”
