Arsenal have started identifying players that would come in and revolutionise their team this summer. The Gunners have had a bad season that has seen them struggle to get their best players to sign new deals as well as struggle to meet up with the performances of their top four rivals.
Many fans have pointed to the lack of major signings made by the club, while others have pointed at the need for a change in management.
The Gunners however have begun plans for their summer recruitment with Arsene Wenger as their manager.
They have targeted a number of players, but reports from Italy this morning is linking them with a move for AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca.
The Colombian was wanted by the Gunners in 2015, but he chose to join the Italian giants instead, and he has consistently performed for them since that time.
Arsene Wenger believes now is the best time for them to get their man.
Bacca has already scored 13 goals in the Serie A this season, a figure that seem to have impressed Wenger. He is 30 and still contracted to AC Milan until the summer of 2020.
It is believed that Milan would listen to any bid in the region of £15 million for him.
