Arsene Wenger eyes up Spanish youngster dubbed the ‘new Fabregas’

Arsenal are no strangers to being linked with young Spanish players after the way they managed to nurture Cesc Fabregas into one of the finest midfielders in the world today, and it would seem as if they are ready to eye up another highly rated Spanish midfielder in Real Betis’s ‘Dani Ceballas.

Ceballos has already caught the eye in La Liga – fresh from starring in his country’s Under-19 European Championship triumph earlier in the summer.

Clubs have been alerted that Ceballos has less than a year on his contract, with the buyout clause set a £7.5million.

However there have been many young Spanish players who have been given the ‘new Fabregas’ tag and none have really fitted that bill or reached the standard that Cesc Fabregas has achieved in his playing career, will Ceballos prove to break that tag and reach higher than the Spanish international and World Cup winner who he is being likened to on the pitch…….watch this space.
