Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger has been giving his assessment on how he feels Jack Wilshere is doing on loan at Bournemouth.
Wilshere is doing great on the south coast, he is finally getting full games under his belt and playing consistently, something that was not happening when he was at Arsenal, he seems a lot happier and more content, basically, the loan is working out for everyone concerned.
“I’m happy he is developing well and it was a good decision to go to Bournemouth as he gets regular football, said Wenger.
“The observations I am getting is that he is getting stronger every week and that is what he needed. I am happy he has not had any injuries.
“When a player like Jack is in top form, and you miss him always. We want to win games and the solution is to focus on the offensive performance and be tight at the back rather than expect any weakness from Bournemouth”
The loan is working out and Wenger is right to be complimentary, however, it still remains unclear if he has a future at Arsenal, only time will tell.
The midfielder has made 105 senior outings for The Gunners and 34 international appearances for England. Wilshere is a product of the Arsenal youth academy. He became Arsenal’s youngest ever league debutant at the age of 16 years, 256 days. He was once seen as the great new hope for England, but injuries have curtailed his career and he has not quite lived up to the hype that once surrounded him.
